At the end of what I am told is the longest month on record since we started tracking such things in the mid-fourteenth century, here’s where we are:
- I Bloganuararied like I was getting paid to do it, missing not one day. Although I did submit one entry that didn’t go through, so I did back-date it the next morning when I realized that it was hung up. Half a cheat, but I’m rounding down on that one.
- I read twelve books. I promised mini reviews of all of them, and I am three books behind. Those three reviews are below. I want to start what will be the completely normal-sized February with a clean slate.
- I hate the world and everything is complete bullshit.
Yep. That about sums it up.

Best book I read this month was Think Twice by the incomparable Harlan Coben. But it’s the—I don’t know, twelfth?—book in a series, so you likely shouldn’t jump right to that one.
To Catch a Firefly and You Should Be So Lucky were also really good, and The Silent Dolls you will carry around with you till you figure out who did it. You can NEVER go wrong with Tana French, and Cat Sebastian is my new Book Obsession.
The Grey Wolf was also great, but it’s #20 in a series, so see above. 🙂
The rest were a solid…meh. But I didn’t throw my Kindle at anything, so there’s that.

Love y’all.
