Mini-Review: Peter Cabot Gets Lost

Another long day, which started at 5:30 when the power went out.

See, a few months back, we lost an entire freezer full of food when we didn’t realize that we had an outlet go bad. So, to make sure that didn’t ever happen again, Kevin put an alarm on that plug, so that we would know immediately if the freezer lost power.

I woke up at 5:20 or so to pee, and I was sitting in the bathroom, when everything went dark. And then the alarm went off.

Let me tell you, that alarm can wake the dead.

So, by the time I had fumbled my way back down the hall, and Kevin had silenced the alarm, well…I was kind of awake. But I couldn’t sleep late because today was a housekeeper day, so I mostly sat in my recliner dozing off and on till lunchtime.

This is the second book in the Cabot series, and I am loving them. If you are a fan of LGBTQ historical romance, you need to be reading Cat Sebastian.
